Cuando el doctor Blake encontró un bastón viejo y accidentalmente lo golpeó, sucedió algo extraordinario. Don Blake cambió en lo que resultó ser su verdadera forma, Thor, el dios nórdico del trueno y del relámpago, convirtiendose el bastón en su poderoso martillo, Mjolnir.
